SEND-Sational
Safe sessions for Children with Additional Spectrum needs.
SEND-Sational are sessions that ALL the family can attend (including Neuro-Typical Siblings!) We strive to provide an atmosphere of safety and security to all our guests.
The families who attend our sessions are all living with a Neuro-Diverse Child and we all want to come together for socialisation, fun & quality time with like-minded people.
Kelsey has 3 daughters (usually onsite with her), 2 are diagnosed Autistic and she has complete empathy, understanding & a listening ear through her own lived experience.

Social Story:
When you arrive at The Mamas Hub front door, you need to press our Green Button to enter. You will be greeted by Kelsey who has Brown Hair & Glasses with a warm, comforting but quiet welcome.
There will be lots of graffiti drawings on the wall when you step inside our first room, The Role Play zone.
You can take your shoes and coat off and leave them on our coat stands by the door and set off exploring all the rooms we have at The Hub!
There are 5 rooms in total (2 big zones and 3 rooms).
The Bouncy Castle is behind the wall and it goes on for each session, this is a loud white noise sound and Kelsey checks everyone is okay with this before putting this on. We have ear defenders if needed.
Play time will be for just over an hour and then it will be time to find your shoes and coat and say Goodbye to Kelsey!

All adults are offered a cuppa in our travel safe mugs and there are snack to purchase onsite also.
We hope you experience a feeling of acceptance throughout your visit.
